Consequences for Ecosystem Services
Dr. Iglesias is an environmental data scientist currently serving as interim director of Earth Lab, a research unit at the University of Colorado-Boulder specialized in data-intensive, open, reproducible environmental science. She received a PhD in Ecology and Statistics from Montana State University and completed a postdoc at Université de Franche-Comté, France. For her research, she integrates diverse data sets, from lake sediments to satellite imagery and models, to assess the changing dynamics of natural hazards, their impacts to social-environmental systems, and the emerging opportunities to increase the resilience of our communities.
